As a new feature to the newsletter, HR will highlight specific policies on the second Monday of each month Be sure to watch for them!
Recently HR has been asked how to handle vendors who walk into offices trying to sell various services or items. ACU actually has policy on Solicitation and Distribution that applies to both employees and non-employees. This policy allows you to politely inform any cold calls or walk-ins from salespeople that ACU has a no solicitation policy.
Some ACU employees have received calls from those identifying themselves as AT&T employees and offering a $20 credit on your bill in return for your answering a survey. These responses in turn give them access to your account where they can make changes to your cell phone set up.
This is fraudulent and they are not ACU employees. Please do not respond to their survey or give them any information about yourselves.
We’re excited to host Matt Rose of BNSF Railway Company as our spring 2015 Distinguished Speaker!
