In recent months we have had an increase in slips, trips and falls across campus. This is primarily due to the ice and rain that we have had causing the ground and sidewalks to shift. So, as you are commuting across campus, please pay attention to your walking surface. If you see what appears to be a trip hazard, please email a picture and the location to risk@acu.edu

Each year during Pre-Session, we take the opportunity to present awards to two outstanding staff members. The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations they receive from the campus. Please take time to nominate a member of the staff for this honor. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 5th.
Please note: These awards are for staff employees only; faculty members are honored in each college.

Staff PreSession is schedule for Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Make plans to attend from 9:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center.

Summer Cashiering Hours are 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. effective June 2 – August 2.

Microsoft 365

As a reminder, ACU has made an agreement with Microsoft to provide Office to our students, faculty and staff for free. To get your complimentary Office, visit Office.com/GetOffice365 and follow the on screen instructions. Visit install Office on your PC or Mac with Office 365 (http://aka.ms/Y0o21h) for installation assistance.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Students, faculty and staff can purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud  personal subscription at a discounted rate. Student plans are listed on Adobe’s educational site. Faculty and staff can purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription through VarsityBuys.

Library open:
Mondays – Thursdays 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Fridays – 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed:
All Saturdays except May 16th and 23rd from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
All Sundays except August 23 from 7 p.m. – Midnight
The Library will also be closed May 25 and July 3.

Do you know a student who exemplifies the spirit of ACU? Faculty and staff are invited to submit nominations for the Margaret L. Teague Spirit Award, an endowed scholarship that honors the memory of the wife of chancellor emeritus Dr. William J. Teague. Nominees must be undergraduates who have completed at least 58 hours at ACU, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate an energetic commitment to the historic values of ACU, caring, serving and living out the mission of the university.
