April 17th from 3-5:30 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center, all ACU faculty, staff and students are invited to a relationship workshop entitled “Growing Emotionally Intelligent Relationships” by Dr. Gary Oliver.
From years of research we’ve learned that, while IQ is important, it is a person’s emotional and relational competencies that create success in their personal and professional lives. Dr. Oliver will share some of the latest insights on Emotional (EQ) and relational (RQ) intelligence and how they can help you become more effective in your important relationships.
Among other things you will learn:
-The Neurobiology of Healthy Relationships
-The Importance of Using Both of Our Brains
-How To Increase Your Emotional Self-Awareness
-A Proven Approach to Making Your Anger Work FOR You
-The Power of Empathy & Listening
-7 Simple Steps Through Conflict to Productivity
Regardless of your relationship status, what you’ll learn will help you grow in your own self-awareness, and make an immediate difference in your personal and professional relationships. Sponsored by Family First
