Honors Academy for High School Students

The ACU Honors College has several spots available in this summer’s Honors Academy- an academic camp for high-achieving high school students.  Students participate in a week of creative workshops and activities. Children of faculty/staff members receive a 15% discount on the camp fee. For more information, email Krista Toten at honors@acu.edu.

Advancement Services Office Relocation

On Monday, June 6, Advancement Services will be relocating to rooms 321-322 in the Administration Building while our office space in rooms 300-301 is being updated.  Gift processing staff will be located in room 322 and Bio/Demo staff will be in room 321.  We anticipate being back in our regular space the first week of August.

Fiscal Year-End Gift Receipting

Tuesday, May 31 will be the last day Advancement Services will be receipting FY16 donations.  The campus will be closed on Monday, May 30.

SRWC Memorial Day Holiday Hours

The SRWC will be closed Saturday, May 28 – Monday, May 30 for the Memorial Day Holiday. We will return to regular summer hours on Tuesday, May 31 at 6 a.m. Please plan your workouts accordingly.

Summer Shutdown Reminder – Facilities

Summer is finally here and that means yet another opportunity for savings. Attached is a summer shutdown flier. It’s nothing new, just a reminder to shutdown as much as possible if anyone is leaving during the summer.

Office and common areas are still scheduled to run the normal hours. If there are any comfort issues during the day please contact Facilities and Campus Management at x2665. For any classes or special events please email, call, or submit a work order to the FCM office. There may be areas in your building that run less during the day due to the lack of occupancy.

Outstanding Staff Nominations

Each year during Pre-Session, we take the opportunity to present awards to two outstanding staff members. The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations they receive from the campus. Please take time to nominate a member of the staff for this honor. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 10th. Please note: These awards are for staff employees only; faculty members are honored in each college.

Benefit Tip – Reimbursement From Your HSA Account

If you want to make contributions to your HSA or withdraw funds to reimburse yourself for IRS-qualified expenses from an external bank account, just follow these quick and easy steps.

1. After logging into your account, click on the Profile tab.
2. Click on Banking/Cards.
3. Click on the Add Bank Account link.
4. Fill out the form with your account and institution information and select your account type (i.e., Savings, Checking). Once completed, click on the Submit button.
5. After you have submitted the account information, HSA Bank will send a small deposit to your external account within three (3) business days to verify your banking information.
6. Once the deposit is received in your external account, you need to validate your banking information using the steps below.
7. Navigate to the Banking/Cards section of the Profile tab.
8. Click on Activate under your bank account information.
9. To activate your account, enter the amount (between $.01 – $1.99) we deposited into your checking/savings account and click Submit. Upon completion, your account will be available for contributions and withdrawals.
