Movies on the Hill – Zootopia

Because of inclement weather this week, we’re pushing back the date for our first Movies on the Hill screening of the summer, Zootopia. Please plan on joining us Thursday, June 16, for the free event.

Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with great eats from local food trucks. Live music from Ill Lobo begins at 7 p.m.; special animal guests from the zoo will be on hand from 7-8 p.m.; and the movie starts at 8:45 p.m.

Admission is free – just bring one of the following items as a donation for the Abilene Zoo:

  • Wash cloths
  • Scotch cleaning pads
  • Disposable gloves
  • Human body sprays (Axe, Old Spice, etc.)
  • Food spices
  • Hose spray nozzles
  • Batteries (all sizes)
  • Ziplock bags (all sizes)
  • Paper towels
  • Gift cards (Walmart, Lowes, PetSmart, etc.)

And don’t forget to mark your calendars for the coming months’ featured attractions:

  • July 12: Finding Nemo (2003) 
  • Aug. 4: The Jungle Book (2016) 

Benefits Tip – HRA Benny Card

It is important to note that facility and provider claims will NOT be automatically paid out of your HRA account as they have been in the past.  In order for the provider or facility to receive payment, you must pay the provider using your Benny Card (or out of pocket) after you receive your bill and EOB.

The pharmacy is able to run your prescription as a claim with your insurance at the point of service.  You should use yourBenny Card at the pharmacy to pay for your prescriptions.
If you exhaust the funds in your HRA, you will begin to pay out of pocket until you reach your deductible.  Once your deductible is met, the plan begins to pay at 100% for in-network expenses.

University Events Garage Sale

University Events is cleaning out their storage unit and will be selling items in Zone A of the Hunter Welcome Center on Wednesday, June 15 from 9 a.m.-noon.  They’ll be selling vases, event supplies, decorative items, small electronics, furniture and more!  FOAPs, cash and checks accepted.
