2018-19 Faculty/Staff Parking Permits

by   |  07.29.18  |  Announcements

The new 2018-19 Faculty/Staff Parking Permits (F/S Permits) have arrived and are now available at NO CHARGE during regular ACUPD lobby hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Recognizing that many employees may still be out for the summer and may not be able to obtain their new permits immediately, enforcement for expired parking permits will not begin until the 5th day of class, Friday August 31stRemember, parking citations come with a $20 fine, so do the math; FREE permit versus $20 citations! And as always, while the initial F/S Permit is FREE, replacement permits issued due to theft/loss or for 2nd vehicle convenience are $5 each.

Please pre-print/fill out the form completely, then bring it with you for faster service. All of the information is required in order to keep our records up to date.

If you have questions, or would like to arrange for bulk departmental delivery of your employees permits, please contact ACUPD via email at acupolice@acu.edu or by calling ACUPD Office Manager/Parking Administrator Teri Tilly at ext. 2305. Our team looks forward to continuing our service and protection to the ACU Community as yet another exciting school year gets underway.

There will always be one lane open each direction. Workers will be milling up old asphalt, then coming back later with new paving. Use caution in the area, expect lots of dust in the area, and be prepared for slight traffic congestion during daytime hours. The job is expected to last 2-3 months, depending on weather.

Benefits Tip: July Portal Activity

by   |  07.09.18  |  Announcements, Benefits

Our electronic devices can help us keep our life on task by providing us with information in a second and connecting us with our family and friends. However, they can also consume hours of our day without us realizing it. Taking electronic breaks can help us stay balanced and avoid digital overload.  For this month’s portal activity, self-report each day you take a 15 minute walk without electronics.  You must report taking a break from electronics at least 6 times during the month to receive 1 wellness credit for the monthly portal activity.  Portal activities are found under the My Challenges section of the Wellness site.
