The Siburt Institute for Church Ministry invites you to bring your appetite for great food and great teaching to the “Why Preaching Matters!” Lunch and Learn event with Rick Atchley (’78) on Thursday, Aug. 30. Atchley, senior teaching minister at The Hills Church in North Richland Hills (Texas), will share his passion for preaching and speak on the importance of bearing verbal witness to the kingship and lordship of Christ. The seminar will take place in the Hunter Welcome Center from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., on Thursday, August 30. The regular cost of the seminar is $15, which includes lunch. The cost is $12.50 for ACU faculty and staff (use code PURPLE); and if you happen to be a student, the cost is just $8 (use code STUDENT). Did you know you can get your FREE wellness visit and associated lab-work conveniently at the ACU Medical Clinic? Any employee and spouse on ACU’s insurance plan must get a wellness visit between October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018 to earn a significant discount on their monthly ACU insurance premium. Simply give Abby a call at 325-674-2625 to schedule your appointment. Please note that most wellness visits require fasting labs that can be drawn at the time of your visit or any M-F morning after your visit as early as 8:00 a.m.
