Alt-Textbook Initiative

The ACU Provost’s Office and the ACU Library are again able to provide funding for full-time ACU faculty to participate in the Library’s Alternative Textbook Initiative. The Alternative Textbook Initiative supports ACU faculty in their efforts to replace traditional commercial textbooks with academically equivalent alternatives that are available at no cost to students. Many of the textbooks today cost students a significant amount of money each semester and this program will allow faculty to customize the content of the textbooks and readings while saving money for students.
