Throughout the fall semester, Residence Life, in cooperation with Dr. Scott Self, piloted a living/learning community of first-generation freshmen students. As we worked through this program in the fall semester, we desired to gather a larger campus community of current and former first-generation students to demonstrate to our current first-generation students that they are not alone on-campus, as well as demonstrate the success of other first-generation faculty, staff, alumni.
Please join us for an interest meeting and collaborative conversation about our campaign, as well as a discussion of our findings from our 1Gen living/learning community from the fall semester.
