by   |  09.12.19  |  Events, Policy Point

As a reminder, the University’s Driver Policy requires all routine drivers to meet the insurability standards established by our liability carrier. A Routine Driver is defined as a vehicle operator who is authorized to operate a vehicle on a routine or regular basis (more than four times per month) to conduct university business. University Business is defined as any activity by a person representing the University that is determined to be within the scope of his or her assigned duties and includes university sponsored or approved activities.

1) Routine drivers must have their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screened at least once every 12 months to ensure their driving record remains acceptable; and
2) Complete web based driver safety course

If you are a routine driver and have not already done so, please contact the Office of Institutional Compliance & Risk Management at risk@acu.edu for the links to the MVR and driver safety course.
