Warehouse Stock Orders & Pick Up Requests

The Operations Warehouse has a new e-mail that should be used when placing all Warehouse Stock orders (paper and drinks) as well as all Pickup requests (Recycling, shredding storage requests). Please send all these requests to: warehouse@groupmail.acu.edu instead of purchasing@acu.edu. Also we have updated the forms on myACU to reflect this change. Please go to quicklinks and download the new forms. If you have any questions, please contact Geoff Klafter at the Operations Warehouse at ext. 2365.

Faculty Publication Celebration

Please join us Tue., Oct. 1, 4-5 p.m., as we honor our colleagues’ hard work and scholarly achievements at the Faculty Publication Celebration in the ACU Library Scholars Lab and Packer Forum. Remarks begin at 4:15 p.m. and light refreshments will be served. A list of faculty publications is harvested from Activity Insight to compile a catalog of faculty publications from May 2018 through June 2019. This catalog is featured digitally on ACU’s institutional repository, Digital Commons. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Islamic Gospel Music Ensemble

Islamic Gospel Music Ensemble: Riyaaz Qawwali, a group of Texas based musicians, will be performing gospel music from the Sufi traditions in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.  The concert is Friday night, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Williams Performing Arts Center.  The concert is free and open to the public.

Celebrate Opening Weekend with a movie at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium! We’re screening the film Avengers: Endgame for free on Friday, Sept. 6 on the stadium’s Wessel Scoreboard. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 7 p.m. Learn more.

Guest Speakers: Abilene’s Agency on Aging and Dr. Suzie Macaluso, Director of the Pruett Gerontology Center

November 13th – Love Thy Neighbor: Welcoming and Serving Refugee Families in Abilene
Guest Speakers: International Rescue Committee (IRC) will provide insight about our local refugee population, how the IRC serves refugees, and ways to get involved and serve these families.
