Women in Leadership Discussion Forum

SRWC Fall Break Hours

The Student Recreation and Wellness Center will close at 7 p.m. this Thursday, October 24th for Fall Break. It will remain closed on Friday and Saturday and will reopen at 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 27th. Please adjust your workouts accordingly.

Important Payroll Information

ACU is making the transition from running monthly and semi-monthly payrolls to running a bi-weekly payroll for all employees.

This change will occur in January 2020. Details regarding the transition and FAQ’s can be found here. Additional information and FAQ’s will be added to this document as needed. This will also be discussed at Benefits Open Enrollment informational meetings being held Oct. 28-31. Please email your questions to humanresources@acu.edu.

Please join us Oct. 31, 10 a.m. in the Reading Commons, as Brown Library partners with the Department of Language and Literature bring to you Cover2Cover – a marathon-style reading of a single text.  Chosen text will be The Odyssey by Homer. Each reader takes a 15-minute shift until the entire book is finished.  Students, staff, and faculty readers are welcome!  Please contact Dr. Womble at mtw04b@acu.edu to have your name added to the reading list.

Grand Opening – Center for Careers and Experiential Learning

You are invited to an open house at the new Center for Careers and Experiential Learning (across from the Adams Center) on Friday, October 18 from 3:00-5:00p.m. This is a new centralized location where students can connect with the Career Center, Halbert Center for Missions and Global Service, Study Abroad, and Undergraduate Research. Check out the new space and talk to representatives about these various experiential learning programs. The Innovation Foundry is setting up Virtual Reality stations which will highlight a few ACU experiential learning opportunities. Snacks and refreshments will also be available.
