Dementia Virtual Reality Experience

Pruett Gerontology Center and Innovation Foundry Invite the ACU community to a Dementia Virtual Reality Experience. On Wednesday, Dec. 4th, we will have VR programs that help you put yourself in the shoes of someone with dementia to better understand the challenging symptoms they face. The programs are self-guided, and we will have an optional reflection space available. The event is come and go from 11:00am-1:00pm. Christmas Vespers

The Annual Christmas Vespers presented by the Department of Music will be this Sunday, December 8th beginning at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Abilene. This year’s theme is “Hope for All the World,” and it will be a beautiful evening of music, scripture, prayer, and readings celebrating the season. Admission is Free.

Foundation Christmas Reception

The ACU Foundation would like to invite current and retired members of the ACU faculty and staff to a holiday reception on Tuesday, December 17th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center atrium around the Christmas tree. It will be a come -and-go reception with coffee, cocoa, cookies and live Christmas music. We hope to see you there!

Helpful Financial Tips by Family First

Join Family First on January 29th for a free lunch on a topic all of us can relate to: finances. Dr. Kyle Tippens will speak on Family Finances Across the Life Cycle: Preparing for Marriage, Parenthood, and Retirement.
