International Food Festival: Street Food!

The International Students Association would like to invite ACU Faculty and Staff to join us for our annual International Food Festival on Saturday, March 21st from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Hunter Welcome Center. This year’s theme is “Street Food” featuring 14 countries from all over the world! Seats are limited and tickets are quickly running out, so be sure to get yours soon! Tickets are $5 for students, $8 adults, $6 for groups of 5 or more. You may purchase your tickets at the campus center from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. or by contacting Veronica Whitt (vdw09a@acu.edu).

SRWC Events

The SRWC is offering new events and activities this month and next! Those events include the Wildcat Blitz Triathlon run by the Kinesiology Club on Saturday, March 21st, Physical Wellness Day which includes free Group X for all rec center members on Wednesday, March 25th, Lifeguard Certification Classes on March 28-29, April 25-26, & May 9-10, and Bootcamp from April 7-May 7. We also plan to host the Wildcat Ironman in April with the Kinesiology Club and introduce Aqua Zumba as a Group X class. Registration is available at the Member Services desk or online under Programs & Events Registration.

Children’s Book Drive

Alpha Chi Honor Society is sponsoring a children’s book drive benefiting the Christian Service Center. The book drive will run March 3 – March 27th! Please go through your bookshelves and donate to this cause! Drop-off will in be in the Campus Center by the information kiosk in front of The Bean!

Purchasing Policy Update

Team 55/HelpDesk

Team 55/HelpDesk is available to help with information technology issues. They have increased the staff dedicated to answering calls and extended the hours they are taking calls to be 7 a.m.-midnight. Weekends and after midnight ACU is continuing to contract with the help desk provider Blackbelt.

SRWC Swim Lessons

The SRWC is now offering American Red Cross swim lessons beginning in April with Parent & Child  Aquatics Level 1. This eight session class is designed for children 6 months to 2 years old and is starting April 6th through April 16th every Monday through Thursday from 9-9:30 a.m. Check out srwc.acu.edu  under the Programs and Event Registration tab for more information and for upcoming lessons for older children. Family First Podcast

Family First is pleased to offer our monthly Speaker Series in podcast form. Our spring sessions are now available here.

2-part Family First Marriage Luncheon on March 25th and April 22nd:
Drawing from renowned marriage researcher, Dr. John Gottman, Family First will offer a 2-part luncheon on, Making Marriage Work. Gottman shares practical research findings, tools, and techniques that have helped thousands of couples build stronger marriages. The free lunches will begin at 11:30 in the Core Classroom (by the library). Please reserve your lunch spot for the March 25th and April 22nd sessions at familyfirst@acu.edu.

Spring Break Cashier Hours
