Student Jobs and Timesheets

by   |  08.23.21  |  Announcements

Now is a great time to create TERM ePAFs for any students that are no longer working for you. We want to limit the number of open timesheets available. Please take the time to go through your list of active students. You can see this on your approver reminder emails.
It is extremely important for supervisors to verify and approve time for student employees. Students should only be entering hours for the time they actually worked during the pay period. If a student missed submitting their time on the web, then they must fill out a paper timesheet for previously paid periods. If there are errors on a timesheet, please be sure to reach out to them to update it. They do not get notified if you “return for correction.” Remember they can only make changes on Mondays and must resubmit their time. On Tuesdays, you must make the changes for them.
Contact humanresources@acu.edu if you have any questions or concerns.

CSD Wildcat PALS Program

by   |  08.16.21  |  Announcements, Events

ACU Speech-Language Pathology Program to Assist Language & Speech Skills (PALS) Are you concerned with your child’s language skills? Are they highly unintelligible (hard to understand) when speaking? Have you been advised to “wait and see” if they catch up to peers? The Communication Sciences & Disorders graduate program at ACU invites children ages 3-5 to participate in a special language enrichment program. Graduate clinicians in our ACU speech-language pathology Master’s program will complete a thorough evaluation of each child’s speech and language skills. Clinicians are under the direct supervision of ACU faculty members who are licensed, speech-language pathologists. The children will then participate in a 4-week treatment program, twice a week, to target areas of delay in both individual and group intervention settings led by the clinicians. Follow-up recommendations will be provided to families at the conclusion of the program. SEPTEMBER 3, 2021, DEADLINE TO ENROLL. Contact:  Stephanie Fullerton x6670 smb04e for more information.
