Athletics Recognizes April Department of the Month

by   |  04.11.22  |  Announcements

ACU Athletics and Hanner Chevrolet GMC have teamed up to thank and publicly recognize departments on campus who play a significant role in the success of our student athletes. We are happy to announce that our students, coaches, and staff have selected ACU PD as this month’s department honoree! “The ACU Police Department plays such an important role for athletics,” Steve Harrell, Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations, states. “The partnership with them is obviously visible at our home events, but they provide so much more than that in the counseling and protection of our students and staff daily. We are extremely grateful to have great relationships and open communication with Chief Ellis and Lieutenant Wright.” ACU PD contributes to a great game day for our fans from parking and greeting our fans, to security and escorting visiting teams and officials. Thank you for all you do for athletics and for the entire ACU community. To show our appreciation, our partners at Hanner Chevrolet GMC will be providing lunch for your team. In addition, our partners at Hanner Chevrolet GMC encourage all ACU faculty/staff to explore their GM Educator Discount Program when considering their next vehicle purchase.
