Outstanding Staff Awards

Each year during Pre-Session, we take the opportunity to present awards to two outstanding staff members. Please take the time to nominate staff member(s) for this honor by filling out this form. The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations they receive from faculty and staff. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 18.

 

Benefits Tip: Sick-to-Service

We wanted to remind you of ACU’s Sick-to-Service benefit allowing up to 40 hours per year for qualifying events. The benefit was designed to give employees an option to utilize banked sick hours for service related projects and activities.  For more information or to find out if you are eligible, please visit the Sick-to-Service (S2S) Hours Program on the HR website.

ACU Medical Clinic Summer hours

The ACU Medical Clinic is open this Summer from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are closed Fridays. Please call our front office at 325-674-2625 to make an appointment, or online using the medical clinic patient portal.

Summer Meal Plans

The Bean will be open for lunch May 9 – July 1. Faculty/Staff meal plans will continue to be accepted during the summer. Students can purchase Summer Free Style plans for 15-meals. Student summer plans do not roll over.

Staff Appreciation Celebration!

All ACU staff are invited to a Bahama Bucks snow cone party Wednesday, May 18th, between 2-4PM in the Quad (In front of the Onstead Science Center). Staff Senate wants to celebrate the good work you contribute to the university! See you there!

Group X & Rec Guide

Summer group exercise passes are now on sale and can be purchased at srwc.acu.edu or at the member services desk. The passes include unlimited classes through August 27th and are only $15. Classes include Yoga, Zumba, Cycle, Strong, and more. For specific class days and times check out the group exercise schedule here. Faculty/Staff Chapel

Join your colleagues for a special Chapel designed for faculty and staff Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Chapel on the Hill. As we wrap up the semester, this will be a chance to worship, reflect and give thanks. Dr. Cliff Barbarick, associate professor in the Department of Bible, Missions and Ministry, will speak about the importance of rest and celebration. 

Lisa McCarty Retirement Reception

You are invited to join the Office of Institutional Effectiveness as we celebrate Lisa McCarty’s 34 years of service with the university. Lisa started as a programmer in IT and then became the assistant director for institutional research. Her retirement reception will be Friday, May 20, from 2:30-4 p.m. in the east lobby of Hunter Welcome Center. Hope to see you there!
