In response to the recent tragic events occurring in Texas and around the U.S., Hardin-Simmons University will be hosting the Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004. This training is available on Tuesday, August 16th 10:00 A.M – 11:30 A.M.
This training is a collaboration between both the HSU Police and Abilene Police Department. The collaboration allows this invitation to be open to local businesses, churches, and non-profits to attend the training as well. An RSVP is required in order to provide adequate seating at each session.
