Hiring International Students

International students are great employees and are allowed to work for ACU in most on-campus situations. If you hire an international student in your department, be sure they are cleared by HR prior to beginning their work, since their documents need to be verified. Also, please note that they are not allowed to work more than 20 hours Sunday to Saturday during the long semesters. International students are not authorized to work for any off-campus employers, such as a coach’s LLC camp or private employers, except with specific authorization.
