Did you know that the process for international students to get a social security number and pay taxes is different than for domestic students? The Office of International Students and Visiting Scholars provides assistance for these issues. If you are a hiring manager for international student employees and would like more information, please contact Lucy Dawson at lld09a@acu.edu. We’d love more partners to help international students receive appropriate assistance for their unique circumstances. Thank you!

Reminder: Student Employee Minimum Wage

by   |  08.21.23  |  Announcements

HR is pleased to announce that ACU has adopted a student-employee minimum wage of $8.00 an hour, effective August 20, 2023. If you had students in your department impacted by this change, HR has made the necessary adjustment to increase their rate. Please remind your students about this change and review your students to be sure that you see and understand this change. If you want to increase your students beyond $8.00 an hour, you will need to complete an ePAF for that change. If this change causes you to have departmental budget concerns, please forward those to your dean or vice president.
