ACU ALERT
ACU ALERT is an emergency notification system that gives Abilene Christian University the ability to send urgent and emergency information quickly by email and text message.
This s a free service to all ACU students, faculty and staff. If you have a good cell phone number registered with ACU, you will automatically receive messages unless you choose to opt out. You may opt out at any time by replying to the ACU ALERT messages with the word STOP.
If you don’t have a cell phone number registered with ACU, you can still opt in to this service. To enroll, log in to the user registration page with your email username and password, and complete the subsequent form. You can provide up to two cell phone numbers and one email address to receive the alerts.
Faculty and Staff have to renew their subscription to Alert every four years. If you did not receive the tornado warning and other bad weather messages over the last couple of weeks, please renew your subscription.
