Twisters Film Event

Graduate School of Theology Preview Day

The Graduate School of Theology is hosting a Preview Day on Friday, March 28th, from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM for individuals interested in pursuing a theological graduate degree. Attendees will have the chance to meet faculty, get your questions answered, and explore your future. Expect Lunch Provided, Swag Giveaways, and Waived application fee for those in attendance. Pruitt Speaker Series

Please join us as the Pruitt Speaker Series welcomes Dr. Kenneth Sytsma to discuss, “Future Species & Habitats – Should Faith Play a Role?” on Monday, February 24 at 7 p.m. in ACU Halbert-Walling Research Center 101 with Reception to follow. Dr. Kenneth Sytsma is a professor of botany at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His previous studies include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Calvin College, a Master of Science in Ecology and Biology from Western Michigan University, and a Ph.D. in Systematic and Evolutionary Biology from Washington University. Among Sytsma’s many studies, he is also a member of Geneva Campus Church which he attends with his wife and nine children. With his vast scope of interest, Sytsma offers valuable perspectives and interesting insights on how the future of species and habitats will evolve and where faith should play its role.

Save the date! ACU is bringing eHealth Screenings back on campus for your convenience. Complete your complimentary biometric screening to help earn points toward your 2026 wellness credit. All employees and spouses enrolled in ACU’s medical plan for 2026 must complete a biometric screening & annual physical with their physician by 07/31/2025 to avoid the wellness premium surcharge in 2026. ACU Graduate Studies Scholarship

If you know a senior graduating in May or December, and interested in attending graduate school at ACU, please encourage them to apply for the V. W. and Loreta Kelley Alumni Endowed Scholarship. They will need a letter of recommendation from a faculty or staff member in their application. The application window closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 7.

Blood Drive

Hendrick Regional Blood Center supplies blood to Abilene hospitals as well as several counties surrounding Taylor County. Currently, the blood supply is LOW, and the ACU Department of Biology has coordinated a blood drive to help. The blood donation bus will be on campus Thursday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The bus will be parked in the Nelson Hall parking lot between Onstead and Halbert-Walling science buildings. Please help us spread the word. It normally takes only 20 minutes, and walk-ins are welcome.

International Food & Fashion Festival

ACU Bands Concert

Please join us for the ACU Bands first concert of the semester, Saturday March 1st at 7:30 p.m. in Boone Family Theater. Wonderful music performed by the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble, and the Wind Ensemble portion is what the group will be taking on tour March 3-4. Free admission.
