International Travel Policy Update

by   |  06.23.25  |  Announcements

The university has updated its International Travel Policy to better support employee safety and preparedness. All employees planning international travel for university purposes must now submit a travel approval request, regardless of the U.S. Department of State advisory level.

This applies to all non-credit-related international travel. Credit-related international travel will continue to be coordinated through ACU Study Abroad.

Submitting a travel request allows Risk Management to be aware of your plans and to provide appropriate resources, guidance, and emergency insurance coverage in case assistance is needed while abroad.

You can review the updated policy, review a travel organizer checklist, and submit your request here.

For questions, please contact Risk Management at risk@acu.edu.
