A retirement reception for Dr. Carisse Berryhill will be held Monday, April 14th from 1pm to 3pm in the Packer Forum of the Brown Library. A presentation will begin at 1:30pm. Come celebrate Carisse’s 50 years of service to Christian higher education and wish her a happy birthday as well.
Staff and Faculty are invited to attend the annual red carpet FilmFest Gala, premiering short films by ACU students at the Historic Paramount Theatre in Abilene on Friday, April 11 at 7 PM.
Educational Technology is providing a survey to assess the current state of academic technology on campus. The insights gathered will help Educational Technology and other campus offices make informed decisions about future hardware and software purchases. We encourage all faculty and staff to complete the survey. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with cat@acu.edu. The survey should take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete.
Join us and meet your Auxiant and Fairos Team, and Benefits Analyst Elsa Dunson. We will be having two virtual Q&A sessions with our Auxiant and Fairos team on April 14th at 9am and 12pm. Auxiant is the third-party administrator that pays ACU’s medical claims and administers the plan. Fairos can help you find healthcare providers, provide a medical advocate if needed and assist with balance bills. There will also be an opportunity for individual meetings for those interested. Please be on the lookout for more information. Feel free to reach out to HR with any questions.
ACU is bringing eHealth Screenings back on campus for your convenience! Complete your complimentary biometric screening to help earn points toward your 2026 wellness credit. To avoid the wellness premium surcharge in 2026, all employees and spouses enrolled in ACU’s medical plan for 2025 must complete a biometric screening and annual physical with their physician by 7/31/25.
Onsite Screening Dates and Times: ACU (Abilene) – Hunter Welcome Center April 9th, 10th & 11th: 7:30 am-12 pm
Visit the link for eHealth in the flyer provided to register for your screening. If you are unable to attend one of the on-site screenings, whether you are a remote employee or due to a schedule conflict, you can download a form on the eHealth website to complete your screening with your physician. Follow the steps to schedule a screening to access the form. Please see the attached flyer for additional information about registering for the mobile app. If you have any questions, you can also contact humanresources@acu.edu.
REMEMBER: You must fast (no food) for 9 hours before your appointment. Please drink plenty of water. Black coffee is permitted. Continue to take any prescription medications. If you have diabetes, please consult your physician before fasting.

Hey Wildcats, now is a great time to schedule your wellness appointment for you and your dependent(s) to receive your insurance credit for the upcoming year. The ACU Medical Clinic offers the convenience of getting your annual exam AND biometric screening completed in one visit! The deadline to complete both requirements is July 31st, so schedule your appointment before it is too late! The ACU Medical Clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8AM- 4PM. ACU Occupational Therapy students will be holding a handwriting day camp again this summer, and we need kids! This free summer camp will focus on: hand skills, visual perceptual skills, seating and positioning for fine motor tasks, and environmental and sensory adaptations. Together, these components make handwriting more successful! Each camper will be paired with OT students for group engagement. The camper will enjoy a variety of activities to enhance their handwriting skills. The camp is directed by an experienced pediatric occupational therapist and assistant professor at ACU.
