Summer Kids Soccer Camps

ACU Soccer is hosting its annual summer kids soccer camps June 2-4 and July 14-16. We are looking forward to a tremendous staff of ACU coaches, players and other professional coaches to put on the best soccer camp in the Big Country. The camp will run Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m.-noon for boys and girls ages 4-13. This is open to kids of all abilities and experience. There will be prizes, competitions, an ACU Soccer camp shirt, and tons of fun! Registration can be found at www.acusoccercamps.com. A Cappella TMEA Home Concert

Please join the A Cappella Chorus for their home concert as they prepare to perform for the Texas Music Educators Association. An invitation to perform at TMEA — the largest music conference of its kind in the world – is a singular honor. The last time A Cappella performed at TMEA was 1983. We are only one of two Texas universities invited to perform for this distinguished audience. The A Cappella Home TMEA Concert is Sunday, February 9, 3:00 pm, in the Boone Family Theatre. The concert is approximately 75 minutes in length.

Spring Break with ACU Volleyball!

Alumni Day Luncheon

Make plans to join us Sunday, March 30, for our annual Alumni Day Luncheon! This year we’ll honor Greg Feasel (’81), president and chief operating officer of the Colorado Rockies and our Outstanding Alumnus of the Year, and April (Ward ’06) Farris, justice of the Texas 15th Court of Appeals and our Young Alumna of the Year. Treasures from the Hall of Faith: A Special Exhibition

Experience a remarkable collection of historical artifacts and primary sources, from ancient manuscripts to modern correspondence. This exhibition previews the future Hall of Faith museum, planned for construction in North Texas, and is part of a series of regional pop-up exhibits building anticipation for the permanent installation. The exhibition is in the Mabee Library Auditorium, ACU Brown Library, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., now through March 7, 2025.
Featured artifacts include:

  • Ancient manuscript fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls
  • The first Spanish Bible translation from 1569 (Reina Valera)
  • The earliest known fragment of Aesop’s Fables
  • A fragment of Homer’s Iliad

Original correspondence from influential figures including:

  • C.S. Lewis
  • Florence Nightingale
  • George Washington Carver
  • Billy Graham
  • Mother Teresa

Get Ready for Headshot Day Tomorrow!

Our next Headshot Day event will be held Tomorrow, January 28th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Davis-Tucker Conference Room (#328B), located on the second floor of the Library. This is a drop-in event, so there’s no need to sign up in advance—simply stop by at your convenience! If you’re unable to attend, don’t worry—we’ll host another session next fall. Photos will be available through Canto within 2-3 weeks following the event. While this initiative is entirely optional, we highly encourage everyone to take advantage of this great opportunity!

Lunar New Year Celebration!

All faculty and staff are invited to the Asian Students Organization’s (ASO) annual Lunar New Year Celebration! Enjoy an evening filled with delicious food, fun activities, and a vibrant performance by the Texas Dragon/Lion Dance Team.

2025 Christian Scholars’ Conference

ACU will host the Christian Scholars’ Conference on June 4-6 on our Abilene campus. The theme of “Curating Community: Recovering our Connections in a Divided World” is one you’ll want to engage. Christian scholars Dr. Shirley Hoogstra, Dr. Cornel West and Dr. Robert George are a few plenary speakers to note. Early bird pricing is $265 through May 1, then increases to $315. Purchase your tickets today or pay by FOAP. Registration closes May 25.

2024 IRS Form W-2

For employees who elected to receive their IRS Form W-2 electronically, your W-2 is now available. To retrieve your W-2, follow these instructions:

1)  Log in to myACU

2)  Click on the “Banner” link within the left-side menu

3)  Click on the “Employee” tab

4)  Click on “Employee Dashboard”

4)  Under Pay Information, click on “Taxes”

5)  Click on “W-2 Wage and Tax Statement”

6)  Select the tax year 2024 and select the “Display” button

To print the W-2, click on the “Printable W-2” button at the bottom left of the page.
