ACU is committed to your health and well-being. We offer a wellness program to not only provide you with resources to live your healthiest lifestyle, but to also give you an opportunity to decrease your medical premiums. To earn the wellness credit in 2025, you must complete the following 2 activities between October 1, 2023 and July 31, 2024:

1. Receive annual exam with your doctor

2. Receive biometric screening (either onsite or with your doctor)

NOTE: Any new hires hired after 4/1/24 will automatically receive the wellness credit for 2025.

Save the Date: Abiding in Christ Dinner

The Lytle Center for Faith & Leadership is hosting its fourth annual Abiding in Christ Dinner.  This year’s speaker is Chris Singleton, an inspirational speaker, author, entrepreneur and former professional athlete.  He became a nationally renowned speaker with a message of resilience, forgiveness and unity following the loss of his mother in the 2015 Mother Emmanuel Church tragedy in Charleston, South Carolina.  The Abiding in Christ dinner is open to faculty/staff and spouses.  Please save the date for Sept. 3, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center.

Banner Finance Year End Processing

The Banner Finance Year-End Processing will take place on Monday, June 24, 2024, beginning at 5 p.m. Banner will be unavailable between 5 p.m. and about 10:30 p.m. depending on how long processes run.

Camp Goodenough

Summer time means camp time! ACU Women’s basketball camps begin in June. We offer girls basketball camps for students who are entering kindergarten all the way through Seniors in high school! Our players do an amazing job coaching and teaching our campers! It is an awesome way to work on basketball skill development, compete, and get to know the team, all in a fun, positive, encouraging environment! Mental Health First Aid

The Betty Hardwick Center is excited to offer an upcoming Adult Mental Health First Aid class!  Below you can find the Eventbrite registration link and information regarding the upcoming class.  After registration ends, participants will be contacted with further instructions regarding MHFA Connect, which is where participants will complete a pre eval, opinions quiz, final test, course evaluation, and download their certificate.

The course is free of charge due to some grant funding.  And in case you are wondering what MHFA is, it is a course that teaches adults how to recognize signs and symptoms of a mental health challenge and provides skills on how to provide initial assistance until professional help is achieved or the crisis resolves.

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • It will be held in person from 8am-5pm at the Betty Hardwick Center

Schedule your wellness appointment today

Hey Wildcats, now is a great time to schedule your wellness appointment for you and your dependent(s) to receive your insurance credit for the upcoming year. The ACU Medical Clinic offers the convenience of getting your annual exam AND biometric screening completed in one visit! The deadline to complete both requirements is now JULY 31st, so schedule your appointment before it is too late! The ACU Medical Clinic is open Monday-Thursday, 9 AM- 1 PM this Summer.
