Please join us for a farewell reception honoring Rob Forkner, senior systems administrator in information technology, as he departs the university after more than 30 years of dedicated service. The reception will be on Friday, June 13, at 2 p.m. in the Reading Commons of the Brown Library. Light refreshments will be served.
Insurance life events, also known as qualifying life events (QLEs), are specific occurrences or changes in a person’s life that allow them to enroll in or change health insurance coverage outside of the regular enrollment periods according to healthinsurance.org. These events typically trigger a special enrollment period, giving individuals a chance to adjust their coverage to better fit their new circumstances. Common Qualifying Life Events:

Join us this summer for Movies on the Hill! On June 17th, we will watch Lilo & Stitch (2002), and on July 15th, we will watch The Grinch (2018). Both events will occur in Moody with activities beginning at 6 pm and the movie starting at 7 pm. We hope to see you there!
The Workday implementation project is continuing to make headway, with our Finance, HR, and IT teams working hard to prepare for our launch in December. We are now in the Architect and Configure phase of our Workday implementation, where teams are actively testing the system to ensure it meets our needs. This involves running hundreds of test scenarios, identifying issues, logging defects, and working to resolve them. These efforts are key to refining the system and ensuring a smooth transition when we go live. Looking for the best girls basketball camp in Texas? Look no further! Hosting girls basketball camps for campers going into kindergarten thru 12th grade in our beautiful Moody Coliseum and Orr gym. All of our 6 individual camps are all held in June. We invite all skill levels. Campers do not need any basketball playing experience to attend our camps and they will have so much fun with our players who are the camp coaches! We do offer a 10% discount for ACU Fac/Staff. Beginning May 12th until Wildcat week, University Mail & Copy will be working summer hours: 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm. They will be closed daily for lunch. Also, be aware that postage stamps will be going up in July 2025 from $0.73 to $0.78 each.
Wednesday, May 28th is the last day inventory orders will be taken and charged for this fiscal year. Orders placed May 29th or 30th will be held and fulfilled the following Monday, June 2nd and charged in the new fiscal year.
