Important Notice about Web Timesheets

Due to the upcoming holiday and bi-weekly payroll transition, it is extremely important that hourly employees (both staff and student) complete and submit timesheets for the 12/16 to 12/21 pay cycle prior to leaving for the Christmas holiday break. If you fail to submit the 12/16-12/21 timesheet, payment for these hours will be delayed. If you plan to be off through Jan. 4th, please go ahead and complete the timesheet for the 12/22 – 1/4/20 pay period once it becomes available. Please share this information with your student employees. 

Dead Day Beat Saber Tournament

Dementia Virtual Reality Experience

Pruett Gerontology Center and Innovation Foundry Invite the ACU community to a Dementia Virtual Reality Experience. On Wednesday, Dec. 4th, we will have VR programs that help you put yourself in the shoes of someone with dementia to better understand the challenging symptoms they face. The programs are self-guided, and we will have an optional reflection space available. The event is come and go from 11:00am-1:00pm. Christmas Vespers

The Annual Christmas Vespers presented by the Department of Music will be this Sunday, December 8th beginning at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Abilene. This year’s theme is “Hope for All the World,” and it will be a beautiful evening of music, scripture, prayer, and readings celebrating the season. Admission is Free.

Foundation Christmas Reception

The ACU Foundation would like to invite current and retired members of the ACU faculty and staff to a holiday reception on Tuesday, December 17th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center atrium around the Christmas tree. It will be a come -and-go reception with coffee, cocoa, cookies and live Christmas music. We hope to see you there!

Benefits Tip: 2021 Health Insurance Documents Available

The “2021 Summary of Benefits and Coverage” and the “Glossary of Health Coverage and Medical Terms” are now available for review on the HR website under the Employee Benefits, “Important Notices” section. Also for review is information regarding Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Christmas Luncheon

Human Resources would like to invite all Faculty and Staff to enjoy a Christmas Luncheon in the Bean. Lunch will be served from 11:30 – 1:00 on Monday, December 16th. Lunch will be provided at no charge to Faculty and Staff with their ID Card. Family members and students may purchase a meal for $6.50.

Prohibited P-Card Expenses

Please note that internal purchases for university services or products with a p-card are prohibited. Meal plans are not an allowable university expense.
