The week of December 19-23 the Cashier’s Office will have the following hours:
Monday, Dec 19: CLOSED
Tuesday, Dec 20: CLOSED
Wednesday, Dec 21: 1-4:30
Thursday, Dec 22: 1-4:30
Friday, Dec 23: CLOSED
Please make arrangements to get your deposits to the cashier during the open hours.
The cashier’s office and Financial Operations will be closed Monday afternoon, December 5 for our annual Christmas Party.
WACU will host its Christmas Bake and Craft Sale from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8. This will be the last food sale until Jan. 12. Please contact Kathy George at 325-672-6505 or Hazel Fillmon at 325-725-4832 to place special orders with one week notice. If you would like to donate items, please do so on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from noon – 5 p.m.
A reminder for the holiday season regarding the policy for Gift Cards,
“Gift cards, gift certificates, and store credits may not be purchased using ACU funds for anyone. This includes those purchased at the ACU Campus Store using a departmental FOAP or purchasing card.”
Please note that gift cards purchased personally will not be reimbursed by Accounts Payable.
The Adams Center invites you to a come-and-go campus farewell reception honoring David Christianson on Monday, December 5, from 3:00 to 4:00pm in the Adams Center Classroom. David has worked for ACU for 4 1/2 years as the Instructional Designer in the Adams Center. David is starting a new adventure with IN-Focus Digital. Please come by and wish him well.
The Occupational Therapy Department is hosting and Open house Thursday, December 1! We have graduated our first class, received accreditation from ACOTE, and have students ready to welcome you to our teaching lab at Campus Court to showcase their research and Maker Lab projects! Please join us any time from 3:00-5:00 for cookies and hot chocolate with a brief presentation at 3:30. This event is hosted by our new academic chapter: Pi Theta Epsilon.
Please join us for a reception honoring Dr Gary Green’s 16-years of service at ACU. Gary has been an incredible asset to ACU serving as part of the Halbert Institute for Missions. We hope you will come and honor him on Thursday, December 1st, 3-4 p.m. at the Biblical Studies Building room 250 with a special presentation at 4:30 p.m.
The Student Recreation and Wellness Center will have adjusted hours this week for Thanksgiving break.
Tuesday: 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday – Saturday: Closed
Sunday: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Join us this Wednesday, November 16th from 11:30-1 pm in the Adams Center for Top Estate Planning Red Flags and Mistake. Cayce Powell, President of Thompson & Associates, offers personal, complimentary, and confidential estate planning processes to friends and supporters of ACU. Now he takes his knowledge and expertise and brings it to this informative lunch session to help you think through effective estate planning. The ACU Credit Union is offering to let you skip your December payment again this year. Signing a form in the office and a small fee of $25 per loan lets you skip your December payment. Come by our office at #119 Admin Bldg or contact us at X2486 for further details.
