Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) is now available to all ACU faculty, staff and students. Adobe CC is a software suite of applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat DC and Premiere Pro. Adobe CC offers new opportunities to collaborate on projects and share design work between your tablet and computer. For more information visit the Technology Support blog.
ACU is considering an agreement for Adobe’s eSign Services which can help departments collect electronic signatures on documents. There will be a webinar on Friday, September 11th at 9am for all departments interested in learning more about eSign. Please contact Kristy Strickland, x2962 orstricklandk@acu.edu to RSVP. The webinar will be held in Zellner 217. Virtual attendance instructions are also available upon request.
Microsoft 365
As a reminder, ACU has made an agreement with Microsoft to provide Office to our students, faculty and staff for free. To get your complimentary Office, visit Office.com/GetOffice365 and follow the on screen instructions. Visit install Office on your PC or Mac with Office 365 (http://aka.ms/Y0o21h) for installation assistance.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Students, faculty and staff can purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud personal subscription at a discounted rate. Student plans are listed on Adobe’s educational site. Faculty and staff can purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription through VarsityBuys.

Effective immediately: University Procurement is pleased to announce additional savings with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National through our E & I Contract. Our new negotiated rates include across the board cuts on the daily rate ranging from 2-4% based on Vehicle Class. In addition to the decrease in daily rate, the weekly factor has been reduced from 6 times the daily rate to 5.5 times the daily rate; they also reduced the One-day surcharges for all rentals commencing on a Mon/Tue/Wed from $5/day to $2/day as well as a reduction in the Geographic surcharge for the NY/NJ/CT Metro area from $25 to $22. Remember to use our account number XZ65059 every time you book with Enterprise or National for University business. ACU Policy requires you get insurance for all vehicle rentals and Enterprise/National includes these costs automatically in our rate as long as you book using our account number. You can use your Emerald Club membership to get an upgrade in vehicle size while paying the Mid-Size price, with the option of choosing your own vehicle. Due to popular demand, our free lunchtime exercise class is now offered on Fridays too…
The SRWC is offering a 30 minute REFIT® class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday this semester at 12:15 p.m. These classes are free all semester long! REFIT® is a dance fitness program that uses positive upbeat music to inspire everyone! No dance experience is required because this lunch-time version of REFIT® has low to moderate impact moves to generate a great workout. This class is designed as an alternative to a brisk walk around campus. Participants will be able to move a bit, stretch a bit, sweat just a bit, and leave class relaxed and ready to finish out their work or school day.
The ACU Medical Care Center is available to the ACU community. Faculty, staff and their dependents (12 years and older) may now access our services. An office visit is $35 and may be paid for by check, cash, credit or debit card, FLEX Card, or billed to your ACU Banner account. Tests and lab work will incur an additional fee. We do not accept insurance, but we can provide a receipt for you to file with your insurance company if you wish. We are available to help with acute illnesses, minor injuries and sports physicals ($25). Our hours are 8:00 – 4:30 M-F Call 674-2625 for an appointment.

Savings Tip: Did you know that there is no extra charge for insurance when you book a car rental through Enterprise Rent-a-car or National? ACU requires the purchase of insurance on all car rentals; thanks to our contract through the E & I Purchasing Cooperative, insurance coverage is already included in our rental rates at no extra charge when we use Enterprise or National. This lowers the cost per day of your rental considerably. If you have any questions regarding utilizing Enterprise and National for your business travel needs, please contact the University Procurement Office at 2246 or e-mail purchasing@acu.edu.
