The 2021 Educause Horizon Report states that “Microcredentials are quickly becoming a mainstay of the higher education landscape. Defined as programs of study that verify, validate, and attest that specific skills and/or competencies have been achieved, microcredentials differ from traditional degrees and certificates in that they are generally offered in shorter or more flexible timespans and tend to be more narrowly focused.” Come learn opportunities that ACU students have and how you can empower microcredentials in your program.
