Have you ever considered writing down the events in your life to document them? It could be a funny story to tell your children and grandchildren one day, document life lessons, tell about important events in your life, or to express the gratitude of the blessings you have received. Reminiscing the good times in your life can bring you joy, and you can share those memories with your family and friends.
There are many benefits that an individual gains from documenting their life story. By recalling past events and through writing in general, helps exercise the brain. Writing down events that have continued to trouble you can help you process those issues and can produce therapeutic results. If this interests you, make a goal to write one entry a day. Over time, this will become a habit!

Ms.Byrd:
My compliments on your comments regarding documenting one’s life events.
In my case,I did just that in a volume titled “DAYDREAMING ABOUT TOUGH TIMES”.
As you astutely pointed out….it was somewhat therapeutic for a 80 year old who was abandoned at a early age……and who had carried a lot of that “old baggage “around for many years. One of the benefits of the “expose” was that now my grown children and extended family know “dad” and “grandpa ” a little better.
Should you care to scan the volume ask Dr.Pruett about it . He was kind enough to have read the book.He and his wife are dear friends of ours and was our neighbor until we moved to S. Carolina early 2018.
Respectfully
Bernard (Bernie)Brown Ph.D
Thank you for your comment, Dr. Brown. I will take a look at your book!
