URCI Grants

Faculty-Guided Funding Opportunities

URCI Grants

Undergraduate Research, Creativity and Innovation Grants encourage faculty-mentored research and creative projects by providing financial assistance to students, faculty, and project needs.

Cullen Grants

Cullen funds are generated by an endowment from the Cullen Foundation and support faculty research projects in all academic areas, with the exception of mathematics and the natural sciences.

Math-Science Grants

The Math-Science grant fund was established to provide a source of internal support for any qualified faculty member at Abilene Christian University to provide time for faculty scholarship during a summer term.

Travel Grants

Undergraduate Research, Creativity and Innovation offers grants for travel to external conferences, competitions, and exhibitions for up to $1000 per project to:

  • ACU faculty who mentor undergraduate students in research or creative activities.
    • Faculty mentoring more than one project should submit a separate application for each undergraduate research/creative project requesting travel funding.
  • ACU undergraduate scholars (Beginning in 2024, the student and faculty applications are combined as a single faculty application).
Applications should be submitted by faculty mentors at the beginning of the fall, spring, and summer funding cycles.
