Taking Attendance
To start, log in to MyACU, and navigate to the panel with your classes listed and click on the icon for class roster.
Click on “take attendance” to start taking attendance. You will also notice that this page also allows you to email to your class, print the roster, and learn their names!
Once you click on “take attendance”, here is what the attendance page looks like:
Start by setting the date of attendance, and then you can click on student photos to mark them as present, absent, tardy or excused. If you do not see the option you need, keep clicking, until it shows up. To make it easier, you can start by marking everyone present and click only on those who are not present.
By the end of the semester you can export the attendance information into a spreadsheet to gather attendance data for the entire semester if attendance is going to be part of your grade.
