New Course/Program Approvals
All course revisions, new courses or program changes must proceed through the university’s prescribed approval process. To access the resources for new course application, new program application, new track or minor application, or the approval chart for curriculum changes, Go to The Provost’s Blog.
The Adams Center staff can assist you in course design and syllabus development to maximize student learning. Contact Amy Boone or Scott Hamm to get started.
Syllabus Resources
When you submit your new course for approval, the Adams Center instructional design team will review the syllabus and provide you feedback that may help you improve the syllabus or the design of the course in general. The action verbs from Bloom’s Taxonomy are listed to help you think about what to include in the outcomes and measurements section of your syllabus.
