Adams Center Initiatives
Academic Leaders at ACU generously support faculty renewal and faculty enrichment opportunities. Faculty who qualify are encouraged to apply for funds and assistance made available through the provost’s office, the Faculty Development Committee, and the Adams Center.

Teaching Innovation Grants

The goal of the Teaching Innovation Grants program is to encourage teaching excellence at Abilene Christian University.

Presidential Funds

In 1994, the President of the University established a Professional Development fund to be used to supplement currently budgeted monies dedicated to faculty enrichment.

Faculty Development Committee

The faculty development committee facilitates, advocates, and provides opportunities and resources for faculty enrichment across the university.

Cullen Grants

The Cullen grant fund was established to provide time for faculty scholarship during a summer term for qualified faculty in non-Math-Science disciplines.

Math-Science Grants

The Cullen grant fund was established to provide time for faculty scholarship during a summer term for qualified faculty in Math-Science disciplines.

SEED Awards

This is a highly competitive grant designed to fund an investigator over 2 years, for a total of $20,000 ($10,000 each fiscal year), in the conduct of studies aimed at providing preliminary data for an external funding application.

External Grants

This is a helpful resource from the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs to assist faculty and staff in their pursuit to obtain external funds to support scholarly research and projects. Located at bottom of page.
