Congratulations to the students who have made the Dean’s Honor Role for Fall 2010!  During any term in which an undergraduate student achieves a current GPA of 3.6 or above and is registered for 12 or more hours with no “F” or “WF” grades, they are included on the Dean’s Honor Roll for that term.  The Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is very pleased to announce that 22 A&E majors achieved this honor during the Fall 2010 semester.  These studetns represent the department’s commitment to excellence in academics, and we are proud of and thankful for their diligence and achievements.

A&E’s annual trip to Medina Children’s Home was bigger this year than ever before.  Twenty-three students participated.  Their responsibilities this year consisted of clearing land, mowing, and moving in a new family.   A&E students and sponsors also cooked dinner Saturday evening for the entire campus as they do every year.

“This was my third time to go on the trip and it gets better every year,” said Tiffany Lutz, junior animal science major from Zelienople, Pa.  “I decided to go this year because it’s always a fun trip.  I enjoy it because of the connections I make with my fellow students that I wouldn’t normally make in a classroom.” More »
