Daniel Weber will be speaking. Daniel is an ACU alumnus from LAX. His area of expertise is in Printmaking.
Cockerell Gallery– located downtown Abilene- 1133 N2nd Street. February 11-March 3 (Opening Reception Art Walk, Feb 11)ABI/LA Exhibition- This show features the talent of successful artist and designers that live and work in greater LA and just happen to also be alumni from the ACU Department of Art and Design.
Artist Talk- Free printmaking demo/workshop this Thursday, Feb 11th at 9:00 a.m. in DM222. Daniel Weber graduated with a BFA from ACU in 2003 and got his MFA in printmaking from California State University in Fullerton, CA. Interested students need to sign up in the office for this event. Space is limited.
Great Art/Design Credit– Feb. 12th at 9:00am in Don Morris 141, Daniel Weber will be talking in the Life and Career in Art class. Come learn what it takes to be a fine artist in LA!
Shore Art Gallery- Senior Show “Elan” by Jessica Weersing, Dina Pavlin, Kimberll Lowry, Bethany Koeller and Tammy Trylko. This show will be open until Feb. 19th.
Study Abroad- Study Abroad has started to finalize air tickets and other travel arrangements. If you would like to participate in this trip that departs in May, the deadline is approaching fast. There are two spaces left. Please pick up an application packet in Don Morris 142.
