Fall Registration: Registration starts at 3:00pm on April. 5th. Contact your advisor to get your advising code. If you don’t know who your advisor is a list will be posted on the window of DM 142. It is strongly recommended that all juniors and seniors run a degree evaluation before registering for fall.
Shore Art Gallery: Senior Show “HUE N0.5” featuring: Lisette Simmons, Alina Ernst, Grant Hamilton, Lerium Gonzalez and Emily Taege will open on March 26th at 6:00pm.
Cockerell Art Gallery: Senior Show “Fork in the Road” featuring: Sarah Boyd, Corbin Cawyer, Melody Lessly, Blythe Peden, Jennifer Rhea and Vanessa Whitt will open March 11thth at 5:00pm.
32nd Annual Art & Design Student Competition: All Artwork is due in Don Morris 142 on April 12th by 5:00pm. Reception and Awards Ceremony will be on Friday, April 16th at 5:30pm in the Shore Art Gallery.
All work for the Student Competition will hang in the gallery through the summer. Work not selected for the show may be displayed in the library, the hallways, the Fatted Cafe or University offices unless you indicate otherwise. Read page 22 in your student handbook for Entry Categories, awards and procedures for submitting your work.
First and Second Year Student Reviews: This process will take place April 29, 30th. The evaluation will consist of a brief session during which the faculty will review the student’s portfolio, grade records, event attendance, competition entries, and the like. A sign up sheet will be placed in the window of Don Morris 142.
