Monday-Tuesday: Freshmen!
If you are an incoming Freshman Art and Design major we would like to invite you to apply for one of our $500 scholarships. You may do so by dropping off a portfolio of your work at the art office between Monday, September 4th 8:30-3:00 and Tuesday, September 5th 8:30-3:00. The faculty will gather to review them on Wednesday and you may pick them up again on Thursday.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
It needs to be labelled with your name, please.
If you have an electronic portfolio, please bring a piece of paper with the web address or an envelope with the USB drive labelled with your name.
If you do not have a portfolio do not worry, this is not mandatory.
Thursday: Our first A&D chapel of the semester – 11am in 141
Join us on Thursdays in 141 at 11 this semester as students and faculty speak about the theme Global Faith. We will be exploring the idea of how our faith is shaped by cross cultural experiences both abroad and stateside. You can earn 2 Art Event credits by attending departmental chapel.
Thursday: Sophomore Meeting – 11:30 in 141

Friday: Senior Show Opening in Shore Gallery
Come out and support Hayley Middlebrook and Sarah Arrasmith in their senior show, Kindred, in Shore Gallery on Friday at 5:30. Earn an Art Event credit by attending!
