The Art & Design Department is looking to fill these positions in the local community:

Game Animation Artist

I’m simply looking for an artist, a partner, to use my character designs and build sprites.

  • familiar with animation concepts
  • able to capture basic human movement
  • can use reference art for unification of the style being presented throughout the game design process
  • have some experience playing 2D fighters is appreciated but that is not a deal breaker
  • I do wish the artist to have an understanding of the scale desired for this project. My aim is to have the finish product rival the initial Street Fighter 2 or Marvel-vs- Capcom 2D games. The animation should be detailed enough to convince players the movements are justified as well as keeping a frame rate considerably
  • I’ve included a sprite sheet link which capture what my version in terms of scale: http://www.nes-snes-sprites.com/ImagesSheet/SuperStreetFighter2TurboSheet8.gif. I only need one side of the animation frames for the sprites; I can edit the direction at my own leisure.
  •  When the game reaches the market and we’re concluded with the Beta testing, the artist will receive 35-45% of the profit.
