clickCongratulations to Madison Brown for her win at the 2014 national Brass Ring Awards! She won a GOLD award in the Residential Category for the Frahm Residence and GOLD award in the Hand Rendering Category for the AA/FF Menswear Store entry.

Design students win 2014 district ADDY awards

Congratulations to all the students who won awards at the 2014 District ADDY competition, the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition put on by the American Advertising Federation (AAF).

Students competed against schools throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. ACU students won four awards in total.

Below is the list of students who won awards, along with the titles of their entries.

  • Levi Huddleston, Colin Havard, Megan Teel, Emily Pybus, Matt Varner (group project): Willow Energy Drink, Student SILVER ADDY
  • Matt Varner: Kyle Mason Swann Logo, Student GOLD ADDY
  • Amie Carnagey: Timber Toys Logo, Student SILVER ADDY

Picking Up Art Work

If your work was NOT selected for the student competition you MUST pick it up on Monday between 1:30 and 4:00 in the Art History Room (Rm 141).

In an effort to minimize damage we are only offering this window of time to collect work. If you can not pick up your work during this time please have someone else pick it up for you. If your work is not picked up or you do not contact Arlene we cannot guarantee the work won’t be discarded or damaged. We do not have a way to store it.
