You can access your ID Card by registering on the GPA website or downloading and registering on the GPA app. If you have not received your new health and Rx card for 2016, please email edunson@holmesmurphy.com. Be sure to show your new card at all medical appointments and when filling prescriptions.
Please communicate with vendors that we now offer three methods for them to receive payment – Check, ACH, and now Virtual Card. ACU has partnered with Commerce bank to offer virtual card as a payment method. Virtual Card is a randomly generated card number that is provided to vendors for processing their payment at their convenience through their payment portal. Vendors will receive calls from Commerce Bank customer service representatives in upcoming months requesting enrollment in the new program. Virtual Card will be offered to vendors starting late January 2016. Please feel free to contact the Accounts Payable office at extension 6167 or accountspayable@groupmail.acu.edu if you have any questions regarding the new payment method.
Help ACU honor Dr. Jeff Kimble (’71), 2016 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year, and
Gilbert Tuhabonye (’01), 2016 Young Alumnus of the Year, by attending our annual Alumni Day luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, in the McCaleb Conference Center, Hunter Welcome Center. Dr. Kimble is the William L. Valentine professor of physics and founding director of the Institute for Quantum Information and Matter at Caltech. Tuhabonye is a motivational speaker, author and co-founder The Gazelle Foundation, which funds and builds clean water projects in his native country Burundi, Africa. Abstract submission for the ACU Undergraduate Research Festival is now open. Please encourage your students to submit their abstracts by January 29th at 5 p.m. using this online submission form. The ACU Undergraduate Research Festival will be on Tuesday, April 5.
Dr. Donald Isenhower has been featured in the Fall 2015 CCCU Advance Magazine. Dr. Isenhower authored the piece on Scholarship of Discovery (p.33) from Ernest L. Boyer’s Categories of Scholarship. Scholarship of Discovery is that which pursues new insights and knowledge about our world.
Please join us for an appreciation reception hosted by the Provost Office honoring Dr. Rick Lytle for his 16 years of service as dean in the College of Business Administration on Thursday, January 14 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center, East Lobby.
