Reception Honoring Glenn Pemberton

A reception honoring Dr. Glenn Pemberton will be on Thursday, October 20. The reception will be from 3:30-5:00 in the lower Rotunda of the Onstead-Packer College of Biblical Studies building. A special presentation will be given around 4:00. Sadly Glenn is leaving us due to medical disability. Please join us as we thank him for the time and blessings he shared with us.

Tips for Cyber Security Awareness Month

Use a strong, unique password for every website. It is recommended that you install and use a password manager.

Having separate passwords for every account helps to thwart cyber criminals. At a minimum, separate your work and personal accounts.

Set your smartphone to lock after a short idle time, and set it to require authentication for unlocking. If at all possible, use something stronger than a four-digit PIN.

Never click links in emails or texts that seem to come from your bank, the IRS, or any other institution. If you think the message might be valid, log into your account directly, without using the supplied link.

Many women today are trying to juggle the demands of their personal lives, alongside being professionals. While there is no perfect formula to follow, it can be helpful for women to share their insights on how to find balance in the midst of sometimes competing demands. Join Us This Thursday at the Family First Fun Night

Are you hungry for Harold’s BBQ? Join Family First this Thursday on October 13th from 5:30-7:30 pm for the Family First Fun Night on the back patio of Hunter Welcome Center. Bring family or meet up with colleagues for an evening of food, fun, and fellowship. The event will begin at 5:30 pm with Dr. Steven Moore doing a book reading with his new children’s book, Theodore Thumbs. Harold’s world famous brisket sandwiches will be served starting at 6:00 pm and live music and inflatables for children will top off the evening. Please RSVP to reserve your spot.
