Benefits Tip: HSA Bank Mobile App

Now that you have created your online member account with HSA Bank, have you taken the time to download their mobile app for an even more convenient way of accessing your HSA?

Once you download the app, here are a few of the options you will have:
• Quickly check available balances 24/7
• View charts summarizing account(s)
• View claims requiring receipts
• Click to call or email Customer Service
• View, contribute and distribute HSA transactions
• Pay bills from any account and add a payee
• Using the Dashboard, enter medical expense information and supporting documentation
• Retrieve your forgot username/password
• Report a debit card as lost or stolen

Senior Candlelight Send-Off

Have you ever wondered who can send mass emails to the ACU Campus? ACU’s  Internal Communication Policy seeks to define guidelines for group communication using technology at ACU.  It is the aim of this policy to acknowledge that email is the primary medium of communication for faculty and staff while also addressing the problem of unwanted email or “spam” through the proper use of the myACU portal. Gatekeepers for various audiences are identified in the policy.

Come celebrate the end of the semester with friends, family, and co-workers on April 24th from 6-8 p.m. at the First Baptist Family Life Center. Guests can enjoy free bowling, skating, game room, and gym activities, or socialize in the café while enjoying refreshments. Lois Marie Reed Retirement Celebration

Wildcat Football’s 1st Annual Spring Clean-Up

The Wildcat football team will be volunteering their services for the 1st Annual Spring Clean-Up around the city of Abilene on April 22nd.  Since this is the first time to hold the event, they are looking for help in identifying yards around Abilene to clean.  The main goal is to help the elderly and/or those who need help but cannot afford it.  The team will do things such as rake leaves, pick up garbage, move unwanted items to the curb, sweep out garages, spread mulch, and other miscellaneous outdoor projects. If you know of anyone that could benefit from this service or  if you have any questions, please contact Blake Andersen at bpa17a@acu.edu

10 Years of Google at ACU

In April of 2007, ACU adopted Google as its primary email provided. This was a bold and innovative move that provided ACU students, faculty, and staff with access to a plethora of Google Apps. ACU was one of the first Universities in the world to make such a move. Since that time, our relationship with Google has allowed us to flourish in many ways.

Retirement Reception

Monday, April 17 from 1:00-2:30 p.m., there will be a retirement reception honoring Dr. Eric Hardegree.  Dr. Hardegree has been with the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department for 32 years. The reception will take place in the Halbert-Walling Lobby. There will be a short presentation at 1:30 p.m. Please come and share this joy with Dr. Hardegree and his family along with faculty and staff.
