MACCC Holiday Hours & Wildcat Care

The Medical and Counseling Care Center will be open December 17-19 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  We will reopen on January 7th.  All employees, spouses and dependents covered by ACU insurance will continue to have access to Wildcat Care, available 24/7 from anywhere – even if you are traveling!  Simply visit http://wildcat.care/ and click on the “Sign In” button in the upper right corner to access care.

Undergraduate Research Festival

Applications and abstracts for the 2019 Undergraduate Research Festival are due on Friday, February 8th by 5 p.m.

The ACU Undergraduate Research Festival, scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, 2019, gives students an opportunity to present their research during concurrent sessions or as a poster. Students who present their research compete for Outstanding Presentation Awards in several categories. This year a new creative arts category will be available for presentations focusing on digital, vocal, theatrical, and creative expression. Click here to submit an abstract. You can earn wellness points by helping out your local community! What causes are you passionate about? ACU’s Wellness Program encourages you to participate in local community fun runs, walks or charity events, such as Habitat for Humanity, Wounded Warriors Project, or American Red Cross. You can help contribute to the wellbeing of the community and earn wellness points for participating!

After participating in the event, report your completion on the wellness portal by entering the name of the event you attended and the date you completed the activity. Earn 1 point for this activity.

RSVP for Christmas Luncheon

Human Resources would like to invite all Faculty and Staff to enjoy a Christmas Luncheon in the Bean. Lunch will be served from 11:30 – 1:00 on Tuesday, December 18. Lunch will be provided at no charge to Faculty and Staff with their ID Card. Family members and students may purchase a meal for $5.

Staff Senate and HR are asking attendees to bring blankets to donate to the Christian Care Center to help care for the homeless in Abilene. Please RSVP by December 17th.
