Creative U 2023 with Greg Kendall-Ball (’06)

On October 3, 2023, Creative & Academic Technology and the Brown Library will be hosting Creative U, an annual celebration of creativity and the creative process. It was born out of ACU’s commitment to fostering digital literacy and digital skills through its partnership with Adobe. This year’s Creative U keynote speaker, Greg Kendall-Ball (‘06), photo editor for The New York Times, will share his journey from theology student to photo editor during a lunchtime keynote session titled, “As you set out for Ithaka…” Later that afternoon, he will share a day in the life of a photo editor during a recent news cycle that illustrates some of the possibilities of reporting the news in today’s digital environment.
