Sabbath Communally With Yoga Nidra

by   |  11.11.25  |  Announcements

Theologian Tim Keller suggests that it’s not enough to just stop working and engage in leisure… we need intentional Sabbath rest. Practicing Sabbath rest in community helps us remember our shared dependence, echoes God’s vision of shalom, and guards against isolation and burnout. Sound intriguing? Head over to Studio A in the Rec Center on Thursday, December 11th, from 1:30-2:30 for an hour of Sabbath rest, engaging in the practice of yoga nidra (yoga sleep!). This yoga practice is designed for complete stillness (in other words, no yoga poses!) and guided meditation. Specific clothing is not needed, just show up! Bring your own yoga mat and/or blanket, or use a mat in the Rec Center. We look forward to practicing Sabbath together! Reserve a spot HERE!
