Benefits Tip: Onsite Biometric Screening

ACU is bringing eHealth Screenings back on campus for your convenience! Complete your complimentary biometric screening to help earn points toward your 2027 wellness credit. To avoid the wellness premium surcharge in 2027, all employees and spouses enrolled in ACU’s medical plan for 2026 must complete a biometric screening and annual physical with their physician by 7/31/26. Onsite Screening Dates and Times: ACU (Abilene) – Hunter Welcome Center December 10th, 11th, & 12th: 7:30 am-12 pm Visit the link for eHealth in the flyer provided to register for your screening. If you are unable to attend one of the on-site screenings, whether you are a remote employee or due to a schedule conflict, you can download a form on the eHealth website to complete your screening with your physician. Follow the steps to schedule a screening to access the form. Please see the attached flyer for additional information about registering for the mobile app. If you have any questions, you can also contact humanresources@acu.edu. REMEMBER: You must fast (no food) for 9 hours before your appointment. Please drink plenty of water. Black coffee is permitted. Continue to take any prescription medications. If you have diabetes, please consult your physician before fasting.

Important Hiring Information

The ACU Careers Site Pause will occur from December 15 through January 4. Applicants will apply for positions again on January 5. 
 
Hiring Pause is scheduled for December 15 – January 4. Any new hires or transfers must occur before or after this period. 
 
HR will be communicating additional information via email directly to hiring managers with open positions. Hiring managers are also encouraged to attend Workday training sessions for hiring. 
 
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we transition to Workday.

Call for Honors Colloquium Proposals

The Honors College invites ACU faculty to submit proposals for Honors Colloquia for the 2026-2027 academic year. These seminars provide a unique opportunity to share your expertise and interests with some of ACU’s top undergraduate students in a collaborative, small-class setting. We encourage you to submit your proposal if you have a compelling idea! Priority consideration will be given to submissions received by December 31, with the final deadline on January 16. Coffee With KACU

Starting on December 5th at 8:30 A.M., this event features good coffee and muffins, good conversation, and good fellowship. It is free and will be held in Don Morris room 100.
