 Thanks to all who joined the Jingle Mingle last week! The next dates to mark your calendar for are: Communal Sabbath with Yoga Nidra – Thursday, Dec. 11, 1:30-2:30 p.m in SWRC, Studio A. This will be a time of yoga nidra (yoga rest). No special attire, equipment or flexibility required. Come rest together with guided, scripture-based meditation. All Staff Chapel – Tuesday, Dec. 16, 11-11:30 a.m. at Chapel on the Hill Worship with us before the HR Christmas lunch at the Bean. Dr. BJ Gensic will share and Eric Lemmons will lead music. It will be a meaningful time together to close the semester! Congratulations to our November CompassPro winners: Tyson Alexander, Katrina Simpson-Pelleran, Claire Ferrell Rawlins, and Jonathan Smith We’d like to give a special thanks to our November Shout Out Winner, Hayleigh Honea, for her commitment, dedication, sacrifice, and contribution to ACU’s mission and fellow employees, especially in her behind-the-scenes efforts readying us for Workday! The Standard’s Travel Assistance also assists with emergency medical transportation benefits for covered individuals traveling 100+ miles from home. ACU is bringing eHealth Screenings back on campus for your convenience! Complete your complimentary biometric screening to help earn points toward your 2027 wellness credit. To avoid the wellness premium surcharge in 2027, all employees and spouses enrolled in ACU’s medical plan for 2026 must complete a biometric screening and annual physical with their physician by 7/31/26. Onsite Screening Dates and Times: ACU (Abilene) – Hunter Welcome Center December 10th, 11th, & 12th: 7:30 am-12 pm Visit the link for eHealth in the flyer provided to register for your screening. If you are unable to attend one of the on-site screenings, whether you are a remote employee or due to a schedule conflict, you can download a form on the eHealth website to complete your screening with your physician. Follow the steps to schedule a screening to access the form. Please see the attached flyer for additional information about registering for the mobile app. If you have any questions, you can also contact humanresources@acu.edu. REMEMBER: You must fast (no food) for 9 hours before your appointment. Please drink plenty of water. Black coffee is permitted. Continue to take any prescription medications. If you have diabetes, please consult your physician before fasting.

The Honors College invites ACU faculty to submit proposals for Honors Colloquia for the 2026-2027 academic year. These seminars provide a unique opportunity to share your expertise and interests with some of ACU’s top undergraduate students in a collaborative, small-class setting. We encourage you to submit your proposal if you have a compelling idea! Priority consideration will be given to submissions received by December 31, with the final deadline on January 16. Join KACU for Coffee With KACU at the station (DMC 100) on the first Friday of every month! Starting on December 5th at 8:30 A.M., this event features good coffee and muffins, good conversation, and good fellowship. It is free and will be held in Don Morris room 100. Parking passes are available if needed. 

Wildcat fans are invited to a virtual conversation with vice president for athletics Zack Lassiter on Tuesday, December 9th, from 12:00 P.M. to 12:45 P.M. During this exclusive Zoom session, Lassiter will share updates on ACU Athletics, provide insight into current initiatives and future plans, and answer your questions.  As the calendar year is coming to an end, it is time to start thinking about making sure you have used all of your FSA money before you lose it. The Staff Senate is hosting a Jingle Mingle in the Hunter Welcome Center on December 3 from 3- 5 p.m. This come and go event is an opportunity to enjoy some refreshments, holiday cheer, games, crafts or just some good conversation with colleagues. This midweek gathering is open to all staff and faculty to relax before the holiday break. We hope to see you there!
